Halloween Decoration Ideas

October 7, 2024 by Page Innis Leave a Comment

Fall is officially in full swing, and we are in October. Whether or not you live in New England, October often brings to mind Halloween and towns like Salem, MA. Minnesota was the first U.S. city to recognize Halloween. People call Salem the Halloween capital due to its history and ties to the 1692-1693 witch trials and supernatural events. Shows like *Bewitched*, which featured a visit to Salem, and the movie *Hocus Pocus*, filmed there, have only strengthened its Halloween legacy. Visiting Salem before October 31st can provide great inspiration for your Halloween decor. Alternatively, this post offers affordable decor ideas that you can use year-round.

Candles

You can use this first item beyond Halloween or fall. Rechargeable candles are great because you can use them inside or outside the home. If you have small children or pets, these lights are safe to touch and won’t cause a fire if knocked over. You can use them inside pumpkins, lanterns, or as a centerpiece with various gourds. After Halloween, you can use them to light up a nonfunctional fireplace for added ambiance. You can mix orange candles with white or ivory and put them in the center of your fireplace mantle.

The second item is the same as the first white Rechargeable candles. You can use these items year-round for fireplace mantles, table centerpieces, or outdoor deck and patio decor. Both are chargeable candles you can use during the Halloween season. Add some fake cobwebs with some counterfeit spiders, and you have a spooky look.

The third item works with candle items. Black candle holders add height and a spooky look to your Halloween decor and work year-round.

For your monster mash party, you need fun glasses for other cocktails. These black plastic stemless wine glasses can get your guests in the spirit. You might not be able to reuse them, but for the price, they might be a fun item to bring your party together.

Choose CB2 Smoke Eve Coupe glasses for your Halloween party, and reuse them year-round. The Eve Coupe Clear is CB2’s bestseller. You can also find orange and other colors on Amazon.

Centerpieces

You might be looking for a Halloween-themed dining or coffee table centerpiece. Year-round, use this Black Spiral 8-Wick Candle 11.5 from CB2 to elevate your Halloween look. This centerpiece can be used year-round, especially in a modern-style home. Their simple tealight candle holders enhance your fall decor and work well throughout the year.

Gourds are a great way to decorate for Halloween and fall, indoors or out. Mix in real pumpkins, use faux pumpkins with built-in lights, or add rechargeable tealights or flameless candles, as mentioned earlier.

These are just a few ideas for decorating your home for fall or Halloween. Most items in this post are under $40, except the $80 Spiral candle. Please message me for a 20% trade discount. If you have questions about any of these items, please reach out.
